The State of The Nations Address(SONA) is yearly conducted in the Republic of the Philippines. The speaker of this prestigious event is the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte. In this event, the President addresses his plans for the country, the progress of the plans, and what things are good to go.
The objective of this event is to announce or address to all Filipino what is happening in the country. Through live broadcast such as in Television and Radio stations, the "SONA" is publicly viewed and hear. It is good to know that our President has many plans just to assure that the Philippines economic status will grow and bloom. Also, the President hears the voices of his fellow Filipinos, he, the President, also address that whatever he'll do, its for the sake of the country. All I want to say is, I hope his plans and objectives for the country will happen, and I hope that the Philippines will become better than the previous years.
I think the plans of the President will not be passed because of the other Senators who is against of his plans. For example, the extension of the Martial Law in Mindanao. Do you think the extension of Martial Law helps fight the Terrorists Groups? The illegal doings? and others? Yes, but as we may see, some people especially the people who is not living in Mindanao and the Senators are against of that plan of the President.
Therefore, I conclude that, the State of the Nations Address was successfully addressed, and unlike the previous SONA of President Duterte, the latest SONA is longer and better.

The fight against illegal drugs will continue because that is the root cause of criminality and suffering. Duterte promised to resolved these in just six months but filled to bust and requested for extension saying he was shocked by the extent of the drug problem.
President Duterte also emphasized his plant for a tax reform program it must be studied throughly as it was branded as regressive and anti poor by certain group. President Duterte declared a martial law to maximized peace in Mindanao and he assured assistance for the family of soldiers who will left behind in the line of duty. also showed his eagerness to stop violence and rebellion in mindanao and rebuilding of Marawi.

The president showed his eagerness to stun violence and rebellion in mindanao, it said that the mighty corporation`s P25 billion tax settlement can be used for the rebuilding of marawi however he did not mention the immediate actions to settle the issue all i can say about the states of nation address of president Rodrigo duterte held on july. 2017 has a theme of" comfortable life for all" which is very interesting he tackled all about the things that will improve our economy and some issue the our country is facing.

There were issues he mentioned in his campaigned and his first sona that he either skipped or barely mentioned in this years speech, such as the shift to federalism and his administration's in fracture program.
As President Rodrigo Duterte delivered his second SONA, he talks about war on drugs, death penalty, martial law, mining operation, international relation, OFW’s, traffic and tax reform bill. Change is indeed happening. As a leader he is breaking habits and rejecting trends. But there are still many who keep on complaining, criticizing, shouting and marching for change. Our President can’t do it alone. I can’t digest the reason why some Filipinos hate him. He was never the cause of our today’s problem but we, ourselves, the complainant, observer and critic. Our old man cared for us too much but he knows he can’t promise heaven on earth during his 6 years in position. Why not unite against unfair employers, drug lords, nature- destroyer, terrorists/ rebels, corrupt government officials? It’s just for once there is a President who stands with the ordinary Filipino and fight with them.
We are lucky to have the first ever president who faced protesters outside the house of representative after his SONA. Despite how busy he was and how dangerous it can be for him, he manages to control everything. I admire his bravery and strong convictism. I just hope people should’ve at least respected him. I’m looking forwards to a better year. There will be more laws that me not in accord with our usual way of life. And that is change. Let’s obey and embrace them because it will mold the habits and life of our children and future citizens of our nation.

I think that Rodrigo Duterte's SONA about the Rights against illegal drugs should stop, because he value human life more than money and he won't allow the youths and families ruined in the Philippines.
For the Crisis in Marawi, Rodrigo Duterte stated that "peace of the living is what we seek". Duterte declared Martial Law to quell rebellion and maximize peace in Mindanao. I think that Martial Law is a smart move to let peace conquer Mindanao.

At Duterte’s order during the election campaign period I was even shocked by Duterte’s that he will stop the illegal drugs and criminalities in just six months. I mean no one can do that unless you’re a dreamer. The fight against illegal drugs will not stop until the youth, the people, will not be educated from their community. This country has many problems Duterte cannot solve our multitude of problems alone, let this change start among us. Duterte told to troops: "I stand beside you." I agree of Duterte’s declaring Martial Law as I have faith on him, its the only way to stop or quell the rebellion of maute group, the past martial law is not the same as now, as most people disagree of Duterte declaring a martial law because of they saw what martial law was before. But Duterte said “I will value people’s live as I value mine” but if you wont follow the law you either go to jail or hell. For Marawi and Mindanao said”it is not the peace of the dead, but the peace of the living that we seek” and promise for rehabilitation and fast effort for rebuilding the city of Marawi Lanao del Sur and said that Mighty Corporation's P25 billion tax settlement can be used for the rebuilding of Marawi. This issue is so little for them, that only most of people will give idea,comments and opinions about this situation. On disaster “We need to take act decisively and fast, directly work on disaster preparedness” Duterte care about the people, he values each life as he values his life“On earthquakes we were told that it is no longer a questuion of if, but a matter of when” well said, cause tracking the weather will be more prepared than asking “what if’s”. Just like what happened in Surigao del Norte in northeastern Mindanao a magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck the Province of Surigao del Norte in northeastern Mindanao on 10 FEBRUARY 2017 at 10:03 PM many lives have injured during that disaster, without knowing there was a earthquake coming, we should have a technology of tracking a earthquake so we can prepared for what is coming.
“Believe me, it is easier to build from scratch than to dismantle the rotten and rebuild upon its rubble. Let us work together and lay a new foundation in which a better Philippines can be reconstructed. Help me build a better tomorrow," and as Duterte ended his speech.
